About the project

This project aims to develop a method for measuring how circular a company, organisation or value chain for food packaging is. The project focus on increased knowledge about business models, investment opportunities, cooperation opportunities in the value chain and with surrounding ecosystems including legislators/policy in circular food systems can be measured by answering the questions raised in global, national and regional strategies for circular economy and from companies in the value chain.

The purpose is further to develop a circular value chain on a smaller scale where the measurement method can be tested, to spread information about the transition to a circular economy and to build up larger projects with applications for external funding to EU Interreg and others.
