BaltFood – a food project based around the Baltic Sea
The food industry around the Baltic Sea is impressive, with 15,000 companies and 500,000 employees. It also has a combined turnover of almost 1,000 billion Swedish kronor. The industry faces a number of challenges, one of which is to develop more sustainable production methods. This is being examined in the BaltFood project.
Packbridge is now involved in this project, which aims to transfer innovative concepts and methods used successfully by other industries to the food industry.
In practice, this will mean opportunities for Packbridge members to participate in workshops on innovation management and to share best practices from other industries. There will also no doubt be major opportunities to expand the Packbridge network within the food industry around the Baltic Sea. More information to come in the autumn and later.
