Packbridge in EIT Food film and Matchmaking event

On the 4th of December Packbridge was participating in EIT Food matchmaking event. In a nutshell, EIT Food is Europe’s leading food innovation initiative, working to make the food system more sustainable, healthy and trusted. The matchmaking event allowed us to spot some potential partnership opportunities between the member organizations of Packbridge and EIT Food and our CEO Marie will be reaching out to our community during December and January about the potential that lies in this international industry boost.

Earlier this fall we have also participated in the production of the EIT Food documentary ‘Towards a circular packaging economy’. We were proudly represented in it by Annika Olsson, Board member in Packbridge and Professor in Packaging Logistics at Lund University and Marie Malmberg Lavsen, CEO at Packbridge, who were interviewed for this film. Follow this link for the full documentary or check the trailer below.

EIT Food is a network that is made up of a consortium of key industry players, agrifood startups, research centres and universities from across Europe. We at Packbridge constantly work on broadening our international network and bringing more value to our members, therefore with the support from Region Skåne we have also recently sent an application to become a member of the EIT Food.

Why? Being part of this community opens up possibilities for Packbridge to apply for EIT Food projects during 2020 (for project start 2021) and involve our members in the projects and as well, find new business opportunities with other EIT Food members.
