Adpack – projects to help SMEs to develop exports and find new packaging solutions

Packbridge is one of five European clusters in Adpack

Adpack is the name of an EU-financed project to help SMEs with their export needs. The idea is that the project will help small and medium-sized companies in the packaging industry in Europe to find each other and develop new, intelligent solutions.

Adpack consists of five clusters from five different countries. Balticnet-Plasmatec from Germany, Nanoprogres from the Czech Republic, Plastiwin from Belgium, inovcluster from Portugal, and Packbridge. Plasmatec and Nanoprogres open opportunities for intelligent and advanced packaging solutions. inovcluster is a food and agricultural cluster and Plastiwin is, as the name says, a cluster for the plastics industry. This doesn’t mean that Adpack is only aimed at the plastic packaging industry; all materials areas can be involved. The intention is for Packbridge to represent packaging know-how.

In mid-February Adpack held its start-up meeting in Prague, with Packbridge being represented by Bo Wallteg and Johan Mårtensson.
